- “At evening shall the day be praised“: You can only judge a day once it has been fully lived. For instance, everything may go smoothly in the morning and afternoon, but by evening, your plans might completely collapse.
- “a wife, when she is burned (cremated)“: In ancient times, this meant evaluating her after death, when the funeral rite was completed. Life is complex; therefore, only a woman who remained faithful until the very end deserves the highest praise.
